New Website Launched!

After a successful first year as an family owned & operated HDD Contractor in the Des Moines, Iowa area it is my pleasure to announce the launch of the all new ModernDrillingCompany.com website!

The team at Modern Drilling Co. are very proud of the work they do, their people and the company culture they have worked hard to build. In fact, they have been so busy during their first year in business that they never got around to making a website.

Luckily for me, I was asked to help create the website for Modern Drilling Co. and I couldn’t be happier to partner with this group of guys.

I was excited when I first spoke with Modern Drilling founder Clint because he told me he wanted something unique and dynamic that reflected the personality of his team and his commitment to doing quality work. I knew this would be a fun project and I appreciated Clint’s desire to invest not only in his online presence but that of the HDD Industry as a whole. It is my hope that this site serve as a bright spot in the online HDD landscape, shining a light on a good player in the industry when viewed.

To kick-off this project I flew from my home-base in Seattle, WA. to Des Moines, Iowa and spent the week getting to know the guys. We we’re able to take advantage of an unseasonably warm week for the Des Moines area in December and spent most of the week working outside.

I was able to get onto three jobsites with Modern Drilling Co that week and capture some awesome footage of them in action. I also visited their current shop which they have quickly outgrown, and got a sneak peak at their new headquarters, which coincidentally included an over 100 year old, very haunted looking house in the sale.

Heading into 2022 these guys are excited for what the future holds for their HDD Contracting Operation. The Des Moines, Iowa area is experiencing booming growth and they are proud to be a part of building the utility infrastructure for their community and neighbors.

As their business grows, keep an eye out for for new opportunities on the careers page.
